I'd have to spend quite some time on thinking how to fault this place. Stayed as a family of 4 and had a great time. Very well done (decorated and built) also lovely and clean. Bonus of seeing animals outside in the morning and goats having loads of fun in the field. Easy to find from directions given and easy to park plenty of space 👌 would definitely return.

If I could rate higher then I would! It was honestly the perfect getaway! The cottage had the perfect cosy feel to it! The bed was really comfy and throughout the cottage was spotless! Being able to relax in our own private hot tub overlooking the paddocks and listening to the donkeys! The heated floor was a lovely bonus, especially after coming in from a long walk! The surroundings were beautiful with so many walks to explore and lots of choice of where to eat!

Had a lovely stay at the Shires property, very clean and spacious.
Hot tub was very popular.
Nice quiet break away, easy access to the new forest.

Myself and my partner stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding, in one of their larger rooms which had a very comfy bed, huge bath and fantastic shower.
The breakfast was really tasty, only downside is that it is only served 8-9am so we missed out on our second morning due to getting up too late!
The farmhouse and grounds are very beautiful and the room itself was pleasantly decorated with tea and coffee, and fresh milk left for us each morning. I loved soaking in the huge bath tub (large enough for 2), I only wish we didn't have to leave so soon as I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would like!

Lovely welcome basket filled with goodies was a very nice touch and the hot tub was such a luxurious touch. Just the thing after a nice day exploring the surrounding area
