We had a great three course lunch today. All tasty & well presented. The only (slight) criticism was the portion size of the veggie main course had by one of our party. The mushroom open lasagne was very small (no pic as wasn't my choice) in comparison to the other mains of chicken chasseur & salmon. Maybe if it had been served with e.g garlic bread or a side salad? Still fantastic value and very enjoyable.

Really loved the food here, and the staff were really polite and helpful. I got the haddock chowder as a starter, and then the back bacon with mash and fried egg as a main. The bacon was absolutely insane and I'd never had bacon as good as that. Got some pictures of the food attached - it's great in there and you don't need to be a student or member of the faculty to visit.

Nice atmosphere; staff seemed a little slow to take initial drinks order - so we placed our food order at the same time, just in case we didn't see them again! - but it was very busy, considering it was a mid-week lunch. Lovely food, my only complaint being that there were too many yummy-looking dishes!

We were told about this Pub and heard good things and it did not disappoint the food was great. The atmosphere was nice. Service was good really enjoyed the variety of starters and the selection of drinks on offer. Highly recommend this place will definitely visit again. Really enjoyed the food And the staff were great with the kids providing colouring books and pencils.

I had a wonderful time here. I started off with fish and chips which was absolutely amazing. Could clearly tell it was fresh and the batter was crispy but not oily. The chips were also fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Best fish and chips I have had in a long time! I then had the apple and cinnamon crumble which was so nice. The custard that came with it as well was lovely and warm and was amazing with the crumble. Was such a warm and cosy meal. The service is top notch too! Staff are lovely and food comes out fairly quick. Would definitely come back here again!

Lovely gastropub with modern and luxurious decor. Staff are friendly and service attentive. Menu is varied with a wide choice. The same is true of the drinks menu. We visited around 1:45pm for lunch and it was still very busy with new tables arriving. Most possibly because it is graduation day at Loughborough university. Whilst it was busy, it had a nice vibe and good atmosphere. Our food was lovely and plentiful. All our dishes tasted nice. I have been told the milkshakes are really nice and is a must try. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

We had my daughter's birthday party in the decked outdoor area, that was roped off just for us and we had the most fantastic time! Tania, Sophie and all the staff couldn't do enough for us before hand and on the day! Pizzas were amazing and everyone commented on how nice they were. The atmosphere was great, made even better later by the DJ that was on. Couldn't recommend enough...great staff, great food, great selection of drinks what more do you need!

I had my 40th birthday party at The Jam Garden and Tania and the team pulled out all the stops! Everyone was so friendly, the drinks selection was great and the pizzas catered for all dietary requirements. We were checked on a few times to make sure everything was going well and the area outside sectioned off for about 50 of us was perfect! Would definitely recommend this spot for parties of any size and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much!

Food is always great here. And the staff is quite friendly and helpful too! We had the poached eggs with creamy hollandaise sauce on a muffin, with spinach and mushrooms and it was a great flavor. The eggs were poached nicely as well However, the star of the show was the bang bang cauliflower noodles with veggies. The flavors were amazing and melted in your mouth, noodles were cooked to a nice texture and the veggies were a perfect pairing for this dish. My compliments to the chef

Found easily in Loughborough town centre, I immediately loved the atmosphere of the place. Seated quickly and found we could order food at the bar or online via QR code. The food came out quickly, was substantial and also very tasty - so much so that we went back the next morning and again, wasn't disappointed.

I came to complete some work on site yesterday... The wheatsheaf is a great looking venue and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. "Bekks and Bekki" (sorry ladies not sure of the spellings 🤣) the 2 managers both called Becky.. 2 exceptional members of staff... Both these ladies were fantastic with the customers, professional but with outgoing personalities and best of all a little fun "which I think only enhances the customer experience !! I never ate here as I was at work but the food coming from the kitchen looked lovely and the kitchen staff were doing a Stella job preparing all the meals !! ... Great job ladies... Thanks for looking after me during my visit 😎👍

Came here to do some work on the back room ceiling aswell as other areas across the pub. Some fantastic staff work here... I didn't get all their names. But I'd like to send praise to Emma, Amanda and all of the ladies working in the restaurant and to the chefs who were extremely helpful during my time on site yesterday. The food coming from the kitchen looked stunning and also working in the back of house I could see the chefs took a real pride in the food they were preparing and sending out to happy customer. The old bulls head is a traditional country Pub / Diner very tastefully decorated with a roaring real log fire. Photos show its lovely and clean, it's very well presented and the tables are set to add a little elegance to your dining experience. A big thanks for looking after us during our visit guys... 🙂 (D)

Lovely dining experience, Will was attentive but not invasive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Chef Tims lamb and venison were delicious as were the espresso martinis! Will definitely be back :)

Had a great meal - everything was very tasty and very delicious. We changed somethings around with our order and were pretty annoying customers to be honest haha, but they looked after us, got everything spot on and did it all with a smile, major props! The food was tasty, full of umami and exactly what you want from a Chinese restaurant, definitely elevated compared to a typical take-away, but you do pay a little premium for it. The chicken satay was the highlight, with prawn toast and ramen also being good, and one of the better beef noodle dishes we’ve tried. The atmosphere was a little quiet, but the music made up for it and we had a lovely afternoon! This is definitely one of the better places to get food in Loughborough, and 100% the best Chinese I’ve had thus far - thanks guys!

I have been here for two times now, and I can say, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever tried. Food is really tasty and delicious, atmosphere is great, service is fast and the prices are absolutely fantastic comparing to other businesses around. I travel from Nottingham just to eat here, so that says a lot. Keep it up!

Celebrated my birthday 🎈🎂 on 30th December with my family! My favourite Lamb Kozy never disappointed me! What an amazing and unique little spot! Will definitely be coming back, multiple times, I can see it already! It’s perfect for lunch, with a variety of interesting flavours in the form of bowls, baos and wraps. They are all for healthy eating, but don’t sacrifice any flavour. The quencher was beyond gorgeous, with the little garnishes being a nice and welcomed touch. All the food so very filling and exciting, well worth the price (look out for all the cheeky deals they have too!) The staff went above and beyond as well, informing us of deals, having a little chat about the place, and offering to bring the food out as it was ready. All in all, fabulous experience, and will become one of the top spots in Loughborough!

Really good range of Korean food, catering for children as well, everything was very fresh and tasty. Prices are good and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Definitely recommend going, especially if you like spicy food (you can have it without it being hot as well), the pancake desert is amazing.

Visited this place twice from Leicester and we choose this branch over Leicester as the customer service is 10/10.. cannot fault them at all .. each time the staff was very helpful and explained everything about the food .. The staff were all welcoming and a shout-out to the chefs and Gareth at the bar for being so brilliant that evening. the food came out fresh off the grill and nothing was cold. Staff were attentive and friendly. There is a nice selection of on tap drinks and a selection of different meals to choose from. If your looking for somewhere to have a nice meal at that's not too expensive I recommend Maxwell's highly :)

A group of 10 of us booked a table for Boxing day get together. Everyone's food was good apart from the Nachos which came out cold, but this was quickly put right. We were seated in one of the booth areas and some background music would have been good
