My son absolutely loved his lessons with David. He always looked forward to each lesson which David always ensured was fun and engaging whilst maintaining a calm and relaxing working environment to allow my son to achieve. David has a unique learning style which he constantly adapted to encourage my son to challenge himself and make fantastic progress in maths and English. Can’t recommend Halliwell Tuition enough!! My daughter who’s in year 4 has never really enjoyed maths and after the lockdowns due to covid she was lacking so much self confidence and crying when it came to doing her maths homework, after being recommended to David from another school mom we looked into 1-1 tuition for her and it’s been the best thing we have done! She’s a different child her overall confidence is amazing she believes in herself and as soon as she comes out of school she can’t wait to see David and tell him how she’s used methods he’s shown her in school! So not only is she now doing extremely well in maths at school she’s enjoying maths and is more confident to ask questions! His warm family ethic and confidence boosting techniques are truly inspiring.

My daughter's enjoyed David's unique teaching. Each lesson was tailored for their individual needs and learning methods. My daughter's always felt comfortable in David's lessons and was able to ask David any questions if the work wasn't understood. I hired a tutor for my daughter and the service has been very good. Ever since, my daughter has been feeling more confident with her maths skills due to the sessions that she has had. I noticed a significant improvement in my sons understanding and performance in mathematics since attending tutoring with both Raj and Parminder. My sons school also commented on noticeable progress. Really amazing place to get your children from ages 11 to 16 for tutoring. I was a student here, and honestly the teacher is really impressive of how he teaches, and is a really nice human in general to support your children with your successes, he is really respectful and asks us personally if we need any help even though if he explained it multiple times. I would honestly persevere to invest in your child’s future to let them occupy their study with them to further their intellect, and get the top grades. I've been attending tutoring sessions for quite some time now and they are really helping me in my exam preparation. The tutors are nice and really know how to connect with students and I am always learning something new. My son has been attending U-cademy from this academic year. This is a great tuition place, well organised and very structured in all the subjects taught. My son's progress is tracked using a spreadsheet, this is reviewed by the tutor and feedback is given. Highly recommend After researching a number different tutors we decided for u-cademy, they are professional and most importantly understands how to get the best out of the student. We used this tuition centre for our daughter to prepare for her 11+ exams and had a really positive experience. We liked the fact that there were small class sizes of 5-6 children which allowed the tutor to focus his attention on each child individually, in particular their strengths and weaknesses, as well as building up a good rapport with ourselves and our child. One of the main differences we found with A+ Tuition (compared to some larger well known centres) was that the tutor actually took the time to get to know our child from the outset, for example by asking us questions about her SATS results and school reports- we didn’t get this from any of the other centres we enquired at, they only told us the class times and cost. Thanks to the tutor’s support and guidance our daughter passed the 11+ and secured a place in our preferred grammar school.

GCSE results day. My son got a 7 for maths and 4 marks off 6 for biology. Caroline is what I would call a “super tutor”. She goes absolutely over and above to support her students. Even on the morning of exams she was sending little reminders and helpful revision notes. Both my sons have been tutored by Caroline and they have huge affection for her as do we as parents.

Caroline has taught Science to our daughter for 2 years after she was struggling with certain topics for her GCSE's. Caroline is professional, patient, engaging, supportive and is very informed. The lessons were so successful, our daughter also had Maths tuition as well. Caroline sends resources, supportive links, lesson notes and keeps us up to date with feedback following the lessons, her communication is excellent. She has made such a difference and has been an amazing mentor for our daughter. We only wish we had found her earlier for our older children! My son started GCSE Maths tutoring with Caroline 6 months before his exams started after his predicted grade had fallen by nearly 2 grades. He had a zoom meeting with Caroline first to meet her and they clicked straight away. Carolines calm and kind personality made him feel completely at ease and assured that he was in the right hands. She was so thorough and organised with the work provided in each session, the homework sent through each week and updating me after each lesson. The amount of material Caroline sent through for each topic was fantastic and she was even able to check where my sons school was up to with the curriculum to know what he would not cover so that she could teach him these before the exams. Not only did Caroline check in with my son on each exam morning with reminders and good luck wishes she did the same with information for sciences as well which was so appreciated. On results day, we were thrilled to see he had achieved a grade 8 and he doesn’t doubt for a second that a huge part of that is down to Caroline’s help and support throughout. I would highly recommend Caroline, she really is that tutor that goes above and beyond for her student and I hope to be able to book in with her for my daughter in a couple of years time too. My daughter has been having lessons with BMH Tutors for a number of years and she thoroughly enjoys her Maths & English lessons. The tutors make the lessons fun and interactive and my daughter particularly looks forward to her English lesson and passionately shares with us what she has covered during her lessons. Her confidence and ability in maths has improved and she is ahead of many of her peers in school as a result. Her English teacher shares her passion for the English language with our daughter who has been inspired as a result and our daughter's descriptive writing has improved significantly as well as the standard of her written English, grammar and punctuation overall. She is also finding her science lessons helpful and she is becoming more secure in her knowledge of science. Heroes is an amazing place. Staff there are so down to earth and welcoming and really easy to get along with. My Son really enjoys attending the home education sessions and I like the fact that I get updated on how his day has been. 3 of my children have attended the HAF programme and have had the most amazing time. My family have been at heroes now for 9 months and I would never send my children anywhere else. Thus far they have attended HAF Summer 2023, HAF Christmas 2023 and HAF Easter 2024. Additionally I pay for my youngest to attend 11+ tuition every weekend. I don't know how highly I can praise the phenomenal team of staff at heroes, from Sam, to Idris, Gail, Saif, Dave, Sabina, Donna, Naima and everyone else who works there. Safeguarding is never an issue, e.g for this camp there was 25 staff looking after the children, they are never bored from ages 5 to 15 with age appropriate activities and they accommodate SEN wonderfully too. My children have made friends for life, I feel like a part of the furniture ( in the best way) and we all love it here. I recommend it to anyone who will listen.
