We had a dinner bed and breakfast spa break at Pennyhill Park. After reading the reviews about Hillfield we had low expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken (photo) and it was delicious and the presentation was impressive. My husband had the steak and enjoyed that. We ordered the Eaton mess and millionaires pudding and the Eaton mess was not great and when our plates were collected the guy serving us asked how the deserts were and we said the millionaires was amazing but we didn’t like the Eaton mess (really strange texture, fluffy sand?!) and when we got the bill the Eaton mess had been taken off which was a nice gesture.
A beautiful hotel set in beautiful, manicured grounds, just perfect to wander around in all seasons.
Despite being between Bagshot and Camberley it feels like you're completely in the middle of nowhere. Lavish, sumptuous, luxurious... all perfect words to describe the hotel & spa, including the bar & restaurant.
The staff in the bar were really friendly and attentive, and the pianist was appreciated, setting the mood.
Excellent food, excellent service. We had crab followed by lobster and it was cooked to perfection. Friendly and accomodating service and a good wine list. What more do you need?
This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first time if not better.
Our waitress for the night (Lara) was brilliant and made our experience perfect.
It’s nice to see someone so young take so much pride and have so much awareness in what she’s doing.
Thank you to the whole team for another fantastic experience, and we are already looking forward to visiting again soon.
