A classic, elegant, and tranquil typical English old-style hotel in the meadows. Wonderful decors and breakfast (better than most restaurants), also perfect view from the windows. Service was really classy and friendly, the whole package came to me as a serendipity -- didn't expect to find this hidden gem in the middle of Basingstoke!
I stayed here for the first time earlier this week. It’s a lovely building, set in immaculate grounds. The staff were among the best I have known: friendly, welcoming, pleasant, nothing was too much trouble.
My room was huge, cool, spotless. The bed was massive and very comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the place and the staff. I am in that locale quite often and I will make sure to stay there as often as possible. Thank you all for making it such a lovely stay.
Went to the Noel diamond tribute last night - it included a meal - the show and the food were excellent. Everything was served promptly and the waiting staff were brilliant. We stayed overnight which was lovely - a brilliant night out
