Never been to Steels before but heard great things. I was not disappointed, everything about it was just lovely, the staff were gorgeous, really friendly and helpful, the location is perfect (we got a window seat) the food, what can I say? My friend had jumbo fish and chips so I copied him, it was superb. Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had.
Steels were highly recommended to us while staying at a local hotel.
It has to be the best Haddock and chips I've ever had! My wife had the Halibut and salad and that too was cooked perfectly.
The batter is so light and crisp.
I wish I could have managed the sponge pudding because that looked fantastic too.
The staff were so lovely and welcoming which made it a great experience all round.
We WILL be back when we're in the area!!

Lovely sit-in traditional fish & chip restraunt, a short walk from the sea front, Cleethorpes has more than it's fair share of fish and chip shops but this one is well worth a visit.
