A lovely evening at Quince with friends. Staff were attentive but also gave us time to order, chat and enjoy the afternoon without being interrupted lots. My stomach is absolutely full and those charred vegetables I could eat everyday. Thank you for all your hard work and care - we will definitely be back soon. Excellent value for money.

Beautiful food, classy surroundings and ‘just right’ service. It’s a really warm, friendly restaurant. Had a lovely dinner with my extremely well travelled son and he was very impressed! Especially with the red bottle!! Venison was gorgeous too!

We’re here on holiday and our friends recommended Quince. The staff were so accommodating when I requested a vegan meal, and my apparently many dislikes of others ingredients they suggested (I didn’t realise I didn’t like so much!)! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgable! I’d say the price is completely fair for the quality and size of the portions! Would highly recommend!

I have used Duncan several times to undertake work at my business, including a full fuse board replacement and some technical work to connect up a gas shut-off system. Ducan's work is always of the highest quality, completed quickly, tidily and for a competitive price. I can highly recommend his work.

Duncan came and helped us with electrical upgrades for our kitchen renovation which were completed to a very high standard. The works were quite tricky and required a few visits, which were attended punctually around the kitchen renovation. I couldn’t recommend Strangxl as a company more. As a family he was very mindful of our home and children. The electrical safety certificates have been carried out by Duncan previously and we will continue to have his services to make sure our electrics run safely and to the current recommended standards. Amazing cafe, staff are absolutely wonderful and cheery! Elz the man that owns the cafe is a proper laugh!! The food is lovely, I’ve been in a few times now and the two waitresses are very kind, lovely and helpful. It’s a clean local cafe. Lisa the cook is very friendly and lovely. Atmosphere is amazing, everyone talks to eachother and there’s 80’s music! Service was astounding like usual. And it’s a dog friendly cafe so bring all your pups!! Would urge anyone to come here with family or friends!!

Called in on the way to Minis Bay beach and so glad we did. Off to a good start cafe being dog friendly. Food and drinks we had were very good as was the service . Turned out the owner used to live local to us . Cafe theamed with Lancaster stuff as the bouncing bomb were tested off the coast at Reculver. Good to see places like this still remembering how many air crew lost in WW2 .

A quirky characterful themed cafe with the tone set by the owner and staff. Well worth a visit. It is a small place so a bit crowded and food took a while but lots to look at while you wait and it was worth waiting for. Generous portions well cooked.

Great restaurant with friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Food was delicious and served in a timely manner. The WW2 decor has a very interesting history and adds an extra charm that you don’t get at a lot of other cafés. 100% recommend if you’re in the area and fancy a tasty brunch!

One of the best tradesmen I've ever had work for me, reliable and well priced I usually find other tradesmen are usually difficult to get ahold of, or won't show up when they say, or charge ridiculous prices. I've never had this problem with Trevor We've used him for big and small jobs, and he's always great at what he does.

Dave has been brilliant. We recently moved into a flat and got three quotes for rewiring. Dave was by far the most reasonable and also offered a more comprehensive service than the other electricians. Dave was recommended to us and turned up on the day he was contacted, he was presented with an awkward task of wiring in two built in ovens with limited space to position the electrical connections. He solved the problem swiftly and competently, completing the task in a relatively short time. TT Electrical conducted domestic work for me to a high standard and gave me important safety advice around my current set up. They were able to fit a PIV and cooker extractor fan as well as multiple sockets without any issues. Ty and his colleague were professional and very knowledgeable. No problem was too large for him and I have booked him for further work. Nice guy and great business.

Great service! Tyrone responded quickly to my enquiry and was even prepared to come out on a weekend. Alistair was quick to provide me with a quote for an electrical inspection for communal fuse box in our small block of flats. I sent him a photo of our existing fuse box & he could immediately see that it no longer met the current regulations. He then quickly gave me a quote for the price of a new fuse box & the fitting. I booked him in to do the work & he arrived on time with all the necessary parts. He did a great job & was very polite. I will be recommending him to all my friends

To be honest, I read the reviews first before deciding to have my mid-morning breakfast during my one-night stay in Birchington. This little place is a gem! The lady who served me was ever so welcoming - I felt completely at ease! She seems to know all her customers by name and I was delighted to be part of such a warm atmosphere. My breakfast was perfect - I should have had second helpings! I highly recommend Zara's!

Proper English cafe, real tea proper food lovely service, feels like walking into a family home in the respect that everyone seems to be on first name terms! I had Breakfast No 2 with Scrambled Eggs and extra toast on the side! Went there with my best friend who knew everyone there! This is a real treat of a café. Zara and her partner are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great and the food is yum, real homemade treats. We have been going for years with my aunt, but hadn't been in ages, however Zara remembered me and as usual had a lovely warm welcome. It's one of my favourite places in Birchington.

I cannot recommend Mark at White Spark highly enough, we were in the process of ripping out our kitchen & Mark hit the ground running, understanding the brief & what we wanted to achieve. Nothing was too much trouble & any extras we needed weren’t an issue. Due to a part of the kitchen being delivered late he had to make extra visits & again always arrived with a smile & got to work. If you are planning to use a reliable local electrician I would strongly advise you to get Mark to quote you, you won’t be disappointed.

Great service from Mark at White Spark. We were STRESSED when hubby drilled through an electric cable on Friday night, but Mark came through at 7pm and managed to get our lights back on! Very happy with his service and with the reasonable price! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend :)

After quoting up for a new fuse box and a couple of smaller jobs, Mark arrived on time and completed everything and a few tripping issues on the way. I was interested in what he was doing and he explained along the way. Mark was very professional, completed the work within the time frames set and tidied up after. Not only do we have a safe fuse box, but a working light and socket! Highly recommend, so much so he's going to be doing some work for my dad. Thank you
