First time visiting ZHUG and the food was delicious. We ordered the cheezy gyros chicken and the mediterranean lamb, however, the gyros chicken had very little meat and it was mostly fries and cheese which was a little disappointing for the price point. The chicken that it did come with was absolutely delicious, so it would’ve been lovely to have some more!
We were accidentally brought a halloumi pitta (main) instead of the halloumi fries (side) that we ordered, however staff were very generous and offered us to have this at no extra cost.
The restaurant has a cosy, neighborhood atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff. We would definitely return to ZHUG!
As a family of food lovers we love supporting authentic places. You won’t be disappointed . A great range on the menu all ours were delicious, lovely staff, friendly and busy without any stress. Definitely worth the trip.
Found this on insta and loved the content have been waiting to come. So worth the wait! Gorgeous. Only downside is the hummus wasn’t available and we would have had to wait so will save that for next time!!
