I really appreciate the promptness and professionalism of Laszlo and his new team member Martin, of John Carpenter Electricals who helped Jam Coding Hampshire NW with all our PAT test. Martin came onsite to do it for us, was timely, and gave us a certificate for the work. He also advised on what to do with the devices that failed the test. In addition, he advised us about an electrical charger installation. I like the way Laszlo and Martin coordinate.

I needed to have lighting put in to light up our path to our front door and of course thought to ask Martin at John Carpenter Electrical.

Martin promptly contacted me upon my request. He then came out to our house to get an idea of what I we wanted, look at our electrical set up and discuss around what we had in mind. The next day we had a quote with a couple of options in, depending on if we were after stationary lighting or if we were after flexibility of moving lights around. We picked the stationary, and we booked in a time for the installation.

On the day, Martin and his apprentice came on the time we had previously booked (we had also had a reminder the day before), they quickly and expertly got on with the job, digging out for foundations for the pillars and laying the cable that they also managed to install into an existing socket so that no additional holes had to be drilled in the walls. They were a delight, giving us updates through the day, finishing on time and really keeping the area clean and tidy. The price was also very reasonable.

With Martin I feel I always get a professional service, on time and reasonable – also guiding me through options and making suggestions. I have no hesitation to recommend friends, family and anybody else to use Martin and John Carpenter Electrical for any of their electrical needs.

On Friday when I was in London I took a call from my wife to say the irons plug or socket or both had caught fire.

I gave her your details and you took the call. You listened, reassured, gave advice and arranged for a visit.

Martin arrived early Monday morning and checked the electrics and gave them the all clear. He found the faulty wiring on the iron that reassured us even more that all was fixed
