This is a fantastic place, so happy we stopped here for lunch. Would love to come back and check it again. Everything looks incredible coming out of the kitchen!
Visited Fego in Cobham on a Saturday morning around 11am before a visit to nearby Painshill Park.
The food was tasty and the french toast with roasted pineapple (pictured) was particularly unique.
But the service was quite slow, hence the deduction of a star. We weren't in a rush, but it was around 40+ minutes until we received food and we had to ask 3 times for our bill once done.
However - it was a summer weekend morning and the place was busy. So while the waits were perhaps understandable, they didn't make for the smoothest experience.
Excellent breakfast! Friendly service and atmosphere. Won the “Best Coffee Shop” in Surrey.
I had the full English breakfast, which was really good. Served with the eggs still very hot - a bonus. It is noisy inside because it’s popular and I would suggest anyone that struggles hearing amongst background noise might struggle. Again, owing to popularity, you might wait a bit at busy times so bear that in mind.
