Been going to the Swan for decades now, since I was a kid. The food has always been good there. With the arrival of Merv, it has gone from 'Good Pub Food', to straight up 'Good Food'! We had Burgers, ribs and a side of fries. Faultless. The only downside is that we just wanted more. Next time we will definitely go for the 'All you can eat ribs'. Would recommend this to anyone.

First time in Loughborough and first time trying this place. The food was amazing. I had Jack Daniels Ribs, Peri Peri Burger and Cheesy Chilli Fries. Would recommend to anyone. Friendly chef who is very talented🍟🍟🍟

I had to run for my train so they don’t look the best but they tasted amazing and the blue cheese dip was so delicious. I got them with Frank’s sauce which tasted like buffalo sauce. The staff was really friendly as well. I will definitely go again one day

Ordered from this place a few times now and each time I wish I ordered a bit more. The burger was better than any of the "burger places " in town and the ribs, wings and hotdogs all match. Don't be put off looking for cheaper options because the quality is there at Mervs. Great food if you're looking for some Americana. Perfect for summer time in the garden. 👌

Just had my daughters birthday party here and it was amazing!! They couldn’t do enough for us and the pizzas were incredible. They had lots of gluten free options for a member of the party, including deserts, which were delicious. Would highly recommend for food and/or an event.

Top food in Loughborough! Food was faultless. The Rucola pizza was lovely and can’t wait to try more from here! Small bites were great too, came with dips and full of flavour. Reasonably priced, and lovely staff. Quite a small restaurant so can get crowded however a lovely atmosphere when quiet.

The food is delicious here, had the pizza and it was very yummy. Service is so nice and friendly. I came on my own as I was in loughborough for work and they made me feel very welcome Really cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

I am literally the most nervous patient ever whilst at the dentist. Just had a wisdom tooth extracted.....explained to Doc Sandhu my worries , he just listened and made me feel totally at ease. 2 numbing injections later and the tooth was out, didn't feel a thing! Great staff too! Would highly recommend

Was absolutely amazing. SALIBI I think his name is was great at settling my nerves and has the best hands for the job. Had major tooth extraction with great difficulty as I have hooked roots but he managed to get the whole tooth with no pain or feeling what so ever. Highly recommended for the most vulnerable and nervous of people.

Absolutely brilliant service as I went in for an emergency appointment as I don't like dentists and terrified of them the staff made me at ease and took there time with me only if I could score them 10 out 10 on here. This is just another confirmation of the other 5 star reviews with regards to the unbelievably high level of professional and technical knowledge and assistance. They couldn’t get a technician over and we had an emergency and instead of just leaving us to it they provided us with guidance help and assistance over the phone talking us through so that we could have some power, following a burst pipe this morning which tripped our electrics. The level of service shows they care and want to help people. I am so impressed to find a company that truly goes above and beyond. Thank you so much

I had an excellent experience with 786 Electricals and would definitely recommend them to others. Condensation behind my washing machine caused some of the electrics in my kitchen to trip overnight and I needed a fix quite urgently. Adam was quick to respond to my query, gave me an accurate estimate over the phone, turned up exactly on time the very next day and did a fantastic job fixing the problem. He also talked me through each of the steps he was taking and was very personable overall. Would definitely use this company again!

Adam and Jamie were both very professional, they worked efficiently together and were excellent communicating with me. Just had my first check up here and was looked after so well by all the staff. Being nervous has meant I'd do anything to stay away from visiting the dentist but having come here I've realised this is dentistry how it should be. The service was professional, all options were discussed and I left feeling reassured that I was in good hands. The waiting room is really cosy and they've got a great selection of magazines to pass time by, although I didn't have enough time to read much as I was called through shortly after arriving! Would highly recommend Would give them 11/10 if I could

I came to the Forest Road dental practice today for an emergency appointment referred by NHS 111. I was misleadingly informed that this was an NHS referrals clinic but I am so pleased I made an appointment anyway. I have had a few unpleasant experiences at dentists in the past but Dr Ray and his lovely dental nurse were amazing. He clearly explained the issue I had, there was no pressure to go ahead with any procedures, and I left with a renewed confidence in dentists. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and the whole atmosphere is warm and relaxing. I am now signing on as a patient and will be taking advantage of their dental plan.

Thank you to Dr. Lone for my root canal treatment which he completed this week. I had been anxious about it, but need not have been. Throughout my visits, he was caring, informative and professional. When it came to the two main treatment stages, his calm presence, attentive care and keeping me informed made the whole experience easy; I felt relaxed throughout. My experience at Forest Road Dental Practice has been a pleasure since I joined over two years ago. The staff are friendly, caring, warm and professional, and have provided me a high standard of care and treatments. It is always lovely to come for my check-ups with Ray. I couldn't have found a more wonderful practice to come to.

Tom was fantastic. Came over to fix my kitchen mixer taps, which had been broken for quite some time now - not funny trying to turn the hot tap on with a pair of pliers every time, just because the handle dropped off and would not stay on anymore! Whilst he was here, I managed to get him to tackle another job that been left for far too long - the shower unit. He couldn't have been more helpful, punctual and efficient at sorting these two jobs out for me. I am so happy that he could do these so quickly for me. Five out of five stars - very impressed.

Tommy was really helpful right from the first conversation. Loads of great advice on picking the right shower and was able to come and fit in not much time at all. Where there was complications they seemed to be no trouble at all. Really happy with the work once complete. Will be the first person we call nex time we have a job needs doing.

Wonderful job replacing a seized and leaking stop tap which is now looking and working far better after his visit. Also advised us on noises we were hearing in the house and fitted us new taps which has completely fixed the issue. Friendly, great communication, fair price, efficient and took the oddities of our old house in his stride - wouldn't hesitate to call again or recommend.

Called in the middle of the night because of a heavy hissing sound coming from my kitchen water pipes, came that night and quickly diagnosed the problem which was a nasty mains water pipe leak. We agreed on the cost and proceeded with repairs the next day. Great quality work and will definitely be calling again if I ever need any plumbing work done.

My own dentist can't do more difficult extractions so I've been referred to Gorse three times now. Each time they've been very friendly and informative, and each extraction has gone off without a problem. I have to travel a bit to get there from my referrals but it's been worth it for the service!

I was referred to Gorse Covert for an extraction. I am very anxious about the dentist and immediately the receptionist made me feel calmer. She was friendly and professional. The dental nurse who was in with me was so lovely. It was her first day and she made me feel comfortable didn’t rush me after and checked I was ok. Very impressed. The extraction itself went well the dentist was informative and made me feel at ease. A really positive experience Thankyou all.

I was petrified of the dentist when I first walked into this practice, and had neglected my oral hygiene for years because of it. Gorse have not only helped me feel safe, comfortable and confident going to the dentist, but turned me into a good little brusher too. I travel down from Sheffield for this practice and have no qualms about it and won’t be looking to relocate closer, the service from the team is too good.

We needed low power LED lighting and dimmers installing throughout our home. JH Electrical were very competitive with their quote and carried out the work in a speedy and tidy manner. We looked at other companies in the Loughborough area but were most comfortable with Jason as he came highly recommended from someone we know. I would in turn highly recommend JH Electrical for all domestic electrical work, as he has also since carried out some rewiring and garden lighting for us.

I highly recommend Peacock Dental Spa not only has my treatment been amazing from start to finish and been left with amazing looking teeth but the staff are amazing!! Natalie who dealt with my enquire to start with is just lovely and approachable helping to plan your dental plan really listening to what you want to achieve with the help of Google to look at celebs you want teeth like and wouldn’t like!! Then there is Katie who is just brilliant and will also do a private Karaoke session whilst she works her magic!! It feels more like a social visit with friends than a dentist appointment!! ☺️

I've had 2 appointments at Peacock Dental Spa so far, and have been incredibly impressed. Every member of staff is so friendly, kind and helpful, and they really take their time to get to know you. Everything has been explained thoroughly, with humour and care, and the options for treatment have been detailed with everything clearly set out, no hidden costs. I have previously had some really shoddy work at another dentist, and Katy explained why what happened happened, whilst being professional and not criticising the previous work - very diplomatic! I feel confident that my teeth are in good hands, and little touches from the eye masks during appointments, right down to the Christmas loo paper, make me so glad I switched to Peacock. Sometimes you have to prioritise yourself and invest in your smile😁

I actually found this dentist as a recommendation from someone else. Best dental practice - hands down. I’m not exaggerating, these guys are literally the warmest, most welcoming and friendliest staff team ever. I wanted some cosmetic dental work doing and went to several dental clinics for quotes. Peacock dental spa team really went the extra mile to make me feel welcome and took the time to discuss the options to give me the outcome I wanted to achieve. They have been transparent throughout the whole process. This practice really has a family feel and makes you feel so valued as a customer. 5 stars ✨well deserved. Today my son had his fixed braces applied by the lovely Dr Anna and Rose. Throughout the whole process Dr Anna told Harley step by step what was happening&when finished she advised him how to safely eat ect so no damaged will be cause to his braces. Rose then provided Harley with a pack and explained the best was to keep the braces clean&also his gums healthy.I am super confident and happy with the service provided for my son..the receptionist (especially Lisa) have also been amazing in providing me with later in the day appointments due to work. We are really happy with the service so far&cannot wait to see Harley’s lovely teggies in the end,thanks so much girlies xxx

I approached the Dental Suite Loughborough after hearing great reviews online and by word of mouth as I was looking for a great cosmetic dentist to replace an old bridge and veneers which I had done initially at the London Smile Clinic. From my first appointment with Dr Kiren Johal and all the amazingly friendly staff there, I could tell I was in the best hands. Kiren’s attention to detail is unmatched which is evident in the final aesthetics. I couldn’t be happier with the results that have totally exceeded my expectations which were already pretty high. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending anyone to visit the Dental Suite and see Kiren as they wouldn’t be disappointed, far from it as my prior bridge was great but this one is next level!

My experience with the dental suit as been amazing throughout! Dr Anna fitted my braces 14 months ago and my results are perfect, I’m over the moon with my teeth, she was kind, honest and very thorough at every appointment The reception team were the brilliant, very welcoming every time! 10/10 all round highly recommend
