We was recommended Rob by a friend who had seen us struggle for a long time coming to terms with the possibility of having to put out beloved boy to sleep, at first we couldnt bring ourselves to message him so she got in touch for us and sent he all the information over that we had to look through. After this it was easy to see that if we had to do it then this was how we would like it to be. Rob visited us on the 24th of February and right away he was a blessing, he was very compassionate and he made everything very easy for us I could hardly speak because I was so emotional but he's understood and talked us through the everything again so we knew what to expect. When it was time he gave us all the time we needed with our boy to comfort him and say good bye. He was very respectful of paddy and when he passed he was so careful in moving him and getting him ready to be taken to the crematorium. The next day we get a message to say that paddy was ready and was given options of collection or delivery, we chose to collect him as it was quicker and they was brilliant in arranging a time that same day that's when I met Dan and again he was very compassionate and talked me through all the thing in the bag that they give you with leaflets about how to deal with loss which was very helpful and also the paw prints and a card from them which was very kind of them.
We had boy paddy for 11 years, he was our first baby and came everywhere with us. There was nothining but pure love and loyalty and he was the best companion, we would have done anything for more time with him. Our arms are empty and our hearts are aching but you will always be with us.

We just want to say thank you to both Rob and Dan for making such a hard time bearable.

If you're reading this then the chances are you're considering making that heart breaking decision that all we need help and guidance with. Let me assure you, you're in safe hands with Rob. I thought I'd add to the wonderful reviews as i found them so re-assuring when making that decision for myself. I contacted Rob by e-mail initially when trying to figure out what the procedure would be and to prepare myself mentally. As soon as Rob replied i knew he was a gentle soul, and he took time and effort with his replies. I felt more comforted by Rob's presence than my own vet. My Border Terrier, Poppy, aged 15, was declining and my vet told me it was a matter of weeks. As she was struggling with her breathing i made the decision for Rob to visit us at home. Poppy and I spent our last days and nights cuddled up in bed together and i had chance to say my final goodbyes. Rob turned up on time, and guided us calmly through the whole procedure, always giving us as much time as we needed. Poppy passed away peacefully in the comfort of our own home. I was kept in the loop about when i could expect to receive her ashes back, and she was duly brought home again from Old Flatts Farm 3 days later by Dan. Rob was calm, compassionate, patient and understanding, and made the whole difficult experience as human as it could be. Thank you to Rob & Dan, it was very much appreciated how you handled everything.

Last week, we realised the time had come and we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Bruce, our beloved Chocolate Lab of almost 12 & a half years. He was a gentle giant, who brought our young family so much joy. He was loving and loyal until the very end.

Rob and Pets At Rest were recommended to us by a friend. Rob is incredibly considerate, professional and accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else who has to make the same difficult decision that we did.

We take so much comfort in knowing that Bruce's final moments were spent peacefully at home, being stroked and cuddled off to sleep by his loving family.

It has taken a while to write review, not through a lack of wanting to, but through allowing time to process the passing of our angel girl. We cannot express our thanks enough to Rob and his team for supporting us with the process every step of the way. We have no doubt that our lovely Bella was handled with dignity and respect through her final journey, and was back home with us within 24 hours. Thank you for helping us through our ugly tears and reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet girl. We miss her every day but would always turn to Pets at Rest anytime and at any cost. thank you for treating our girl with as much love as we had for her,

Neil myself and Josh made the difficult decision for our Mollie aged nearly 15 years old and said our goodbyes on 4th January 2025. Rob was so professional and it was so calm and peaceful. It’s taken me time to be able to write this review as we are still struggling with our loss. Mollie was our world , our baby girl and we will miss her always. but we have many happy memories which we will treasure.

We would highly recommend Rob and his team to anyone facing this extremely tough decision. Big thank you to you Rob and Dan.
