Had several companies come out and then fail to get back to us with a price. Called on New View and James came out day after call gave us a quote the same evening and a date within a week or so to do the work. Quote accepted and awaited the day. The team came out yesterday bang on time worked flat out (yes folk still do know how to work hard) and completed. James asked for a walk round to ensure we were happy with the work which was exactly what we'd asked for. Our work involved trimming an ornamental beech hedge and substantial cutting back of several hornbeam hedges to open up the views. Brilliant job and though I doubted they could they did indeed complete in one day.

James came to have to look at the gardens and discuss exactly what needed to be done. An hour after he started, the front garden was unrecognisable and he had cleared the large driveway of weeds. He transformed our neglected garden in the space of a few hours and we would recommend him without hesitation. Especially if your garden needs a miracle performed on it!! James and his team took down a very large 50ft+ ash tree with ash dieback in Old Glossop. James was friendly, professional, approachable and competent throughout the process, from application for a license (conservation area) through to liaising with neighbours and taking down a tree with difficult access. His quote was very competitive and he even left us some firewood from the tree. An excellent service, much better value than other quotes we got, and thoroughly professional throughout. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Fraser and his team did an excellent job in transforming our rear garden, replacing the old patio and path with new porcelain flags, creating two new gravel paths to two new patios at the far end of the garden and replacing broken fencing. Fraser improved the original plans and provided very helpful advice on keeping the costs down. Thanks guys.

We cannot thank One Call Landscapes enough for the incredible transformation they’ve done for the back area of our scout hut in Tibshelf. From start to finish, their professionalism and creativity were second to none. They went above and beyond by clearing out dead trees and brambles, creating a safe and inviting space for our young children. The beautiful seats they crafted from tree stumps are not only practical but add so much character to the area. The fire pit they dug out and built is absolutely stunning and will be perfect for our scouting activities. They laid down 22 tons of stone, making the entire area low-maintenance but fully useable, which is exactly what we needed. On top of that, they laid a solid base for our greenhouse, re-built the steps, and constructed a strong retaining wall—all done with impeccable skill and attention to detail. The entire space has been transformed into something we could only have dreamed of, and the children absolutely love it! My experience was 5-stars from beginning to end. I was able to contact Dimo on a Friday towards the end of the day and got a quote in less than 30’ minutes. Scheduling was done incredibly quickly. I would 100% recommend James . He thoroughly explains the work he will undertake both verbally & email confirmation. The treatments he has undertaken have improved my lawns in one season. I had a few quotes to change my front garden and driveway gates but right from the start knew Garry would do a brilliant job. He made my gates on site and they are great, I am thrilled with them. Garry came up with lots of ideas for my front garden, changing to fit my budget and I am so pleased with the end result. I really can't recommend Brightday enough, they go the extra mile, they are professional, courteous, always turn up on time and just a great team. Garry has worked for us for a few years. He is extremely reliable, hard-working and cheerful. Garry has maintained our garden on a monthly basis but has also undertaken two projects which transformed untidy, weed ridden areas into neat, gravelled spaces. He put up fencing around our unsightly oil tank, making the space much more attractive. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

I would highly recommend Jacksons Garden Supplies as I found all the staff very friendly and helpful and the whole process was seamless from start to finish as I required a new shed and a new base. Jacksons also recommended John and his team to sort out the base for the shed and the team did an exceptional job going above and beyond as everything at to come through the house. Everything was completed to a high standard - the shed is very good quality and the team who fitted the shed were very friendly and the shed was up in no time.

If you need a shed or garage, I would highly recommend Jacksons. Firstly, they have a great range of sheds on display which is invaluable when making a big expensive decision on the type and size of shed from all the options available. I decided on a 14' x 8' concrete shed. Jacksons recommended an excellent contractor for the concrete base (thank you Dave Bashford). I then went to order the shed and the customer service from Martin was excellent. I had a plan of what I wanted, but Martin took the time to look at this and suggest a couple of minor changes that I hadn't quite thought through! This was much appreciated. I didn't feel rushed at all in making decisions and the whole ordering process was made very easy. The installation was great, all on time and rendering completed soon after. I am so happy with my new shed.

Great selection and choice of plants at fair prices. Had a leisurely wander around during covid,.must say they are certainly doing their bit to keep their staff and customers safe. Really enjoyed our visit and the lady at the till was really helpful in pointing out something I was looking for in-store. Very friendly too. Will definitely be going back !
