I wish I'd been a proper nerdy reviewer and taken photos of our food! It was top quality.
We only had starter and dessert, expecting a light bite, super generous portions, we were both stufty mcgrufty.......
The guy behind me had a steak dish, and it took up half the table.
Quite busy for early Tuesday evening, but still plenty of tables
Staff were delightful too, very chirpy and quick to sort out our issues

Lovely meal lovely service atmosphere and pint of landlord. What more can you ask?
Decided to pop in for breakfast.. great service and value although both bacon and sausages were burnt black and the eggs were over cooked and not particularly inviting. We asked for one vegetarian breakfast but they don't do any kind of veggy sausages or bacon and again the eggs were over cooked. Lovely venue but was disappointed in the over cooked items...
Stopped here for lunch and the food is fantastic. Service with a smile and a really lovely cosy country pub.
Parking is very limitednand quite tight so often easier to park on nearby streets, but be mindful of residents driveways. Definitely worth the drive for the food!
Been a few times for Sunday lunch. Staff always happy to help and friendly.
Food is beautiful. Tried the Pork and Chicken lunches.
Not stay there yet but looking at a weekend break very soon.
