Very friendly spot for a snack before touring Canterbury. To this American tourist it felt very welcoming and part of a local neighborhood instead of a too-busy, in-and-out, grab-and-go place you might find in town. Besides, we discovered Mr. Blobby!

excellent variety of food available. pastys are good. great selection which isn't prominently displayed, but on the table menus. takeaway available. lovely choice of cakes and treats. atmosphere good, and seating always available. staff all very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming atmosphere at the coffee shop clear repeated customers coming in and their orders were known by the employees. Very pleasant experience. All the paninis are made fresh to order. Paninis and cakes that I ordered were all of high quality and service was quick and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Been a few times and always been really happy with the service, the food and the drinks! I particularly enjoyed the avo-cuddle and the vegan sausage roll. I will certainly be back!

Very nice place with kind and helpful ppl working in it. The food and cakes looks very appetising. The cafelatte cake was moist, creamy and soft. I will definitely come back for the chocolate and orange one 😏👌🏼 The coffee has traditional flavours and barista had served it with creamy, steamed milk. Gluten-free and vegan cakes are available also. There is toilet in the premises. Prices looks reasonable considering that operating a shop must be costly nowadays.

My friend & I popped into this lovely cafe earlier on today...very friendly welcome and great suggestions for the delicious homemade lemonade and feta tarts....food came with a yummy unexpected salad and we munched the lot! Looks clean and tidy. Fresh hot pasty . Turnovers.Homemade. Range of teas. Good coffee. Does not do fried egg but that's due to not having the facilities. Still lots to choose from Quick service . Very polite . Passionate business owners. Not been open very long. One small step down into cafe Some nice space but compact. Couple of the tables would be awkward to sit on because of a pillar and table in walk way . Quite narrow. Wouldnt fit wheelchair through. Could use front of shop has two tables by windows with more room. Toilet available . Small but clean. Nice handwash and kitchen roll for hand washing. One step up to the toilet area. Wouldnt be able to fit a wheelchair. Dogs are welcome. Breakfast looks nice and seen some happy customers Can do cash or card . Gives receipts by email or paper. Sandwich very nice. Well presented. Bacon cooked well. Bread nice and fluffy. . Scrambled egg tasty! Served with salad crispy and nice dressing  also some coleslaw on the side . Reasonable price and Inexpensive compared to most other local cafes Most places your looking at 7.50 a sandwich . Gluten free and vegan options available. Could have a nicer looking menu and a little more appealing advertising out front. Maybe a menu in the window to show what's available and the great prices. Parking isnt available outside but has some off road parking locally and a car park just down the road. Station road. Would definately go back again :)

This lovely little cafe serves amazing food and very reasonable. I had a georgous sandwich with all the trimmings and my husband had a flatbread sandwich. Wonderful cook and waitress. Friendly polite and fast service. Would highly recommend.

Very cosy cafe serving great Caffe Vergnano coffee. Had A couple of espresso’s, both perfectly served. Panino Parma nice and also the Sundae. Will definitely pop in again when about town.

Great night with friends in this very old building. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Really appreciated the offer of gluten free and dairy free dishes on offer and the flexibility in offering whatever we wanted. Great cocktails too! Would definitely go again. Such a cosy atmosphere in a gorgeous historic building. Not only a great space to play boardgames but we've taken part in a couple of evening events of Blood on the Clocktower which is tons of fun and a good way to meet other gamers. Definitely will be back and recommend the Dungeons & Dragons themed speciality teas!

Great new space for Canterbury with good food and a chill vibe. Once you get down into the basement there's a good amount of space and easy access to the bar. Good selection of games too so had a fun time trying something new with friends! Would definitely come back :)

Such a lovely atmosphere, super welcoming and kind. Lovely table with plenty of room for a big game and our drinks etc. We're a family of 4, with two 11 years olds, who also loved it. 4-7pm slot was perfect for us. Found an amazing vintage Pokémon game that we all enjoyed. Amazing game library. Great selection of teas. We're local and will definitely be going back!

Such a great place ! Owner was so friendly and accommodating, the food and drinks were lovely, and it was such a nice quiet cosy atmosphere to relax and play games with friends. I will definitely be back to play a D&D session here, it’s the perfect place !

Just could not wait to savour their lovely food this this not so insta ready pics 🤣🤣🤣 We LOVE the food at This Ancient Boro and they never disappoint! So far our favourites are the salt & pepper squid, bavette steak in yummy sauce, garlic gambas, garlic mushrooms, pardon peppers, créma catalans, lemon tart, sticky toffee pudding & more. Wow! What a little ray of Spanish sunshine in the middle of Kent. The food and service is absolutely perfect, I highly recommend the Gambas pil pil. The biggest and juiciest prawns I’ve ever eaten. All that was missing was the Mediterranean Sea. Thank you Ancient Boro.

This Ancient Boro The best roast and tapas we’ve had for YEARS!! We were lucky enough to be treated to a delicious Sunday lunch by Sarah, the owner of the pub, while we’re taking care of Raffles and Florence for her & Mark. OMG WHAT A TREAT!!! It was really like being in Spain ☀️ Our neighbours at the table next to us were laughing because we just couldn’t stop saying how good it all was 😅 As a bonus, the whole staff was brilliant: attentive, helpful, kind. HIGHLY recommended. If you’re local to Tenderden: book your table now! If you’re coming from further afield: it’s 100% worth the drive!

This is an excellent little pub. The beers are well kept with a good selection that changes regularly and can be sampled as a tray of thirds. The same for ciders although I haven't tried those yet. The staff are very welcoming. As for the tapas...wow! We're gradually working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed once. Excellent real ales and authentic tapas, what more could you want.

Perfect stop for coffee and a light lunch ☕️🥪 Tucked away in the corner of the Kent cricket ground Oriole Cafe next to the Sainsbury’s express. It’s a lively cafe with a good selection of brunch and light lunch options in addition to coffee, smoothies and chilled drinks. Parking is limited outside the cafe but there is additional space inside the cricket grounds.

Beautiful coffee shop with a cricket ground view. Sun is just facing the cafe. Planty of natural lights and lots of indoor plants inside. They have outdoor sitting and WiFi, too. They have allocated parking for the customers. Accessible toilate with separate baby change room . Also, a book shelf with books and a few toys and crayons for kids.

Me and my friends stopped by this lovely restaurant for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The guy who served was so polite and the environment was so friendly. Cute interior giving out retro vibes.The food was in hearty portions and the cappuccino was out of my expectation! The froth was perfect and airy with the chocolate powder dusted evenly on top. I highly recommend this place if you want something simple but delicious.

I was really impressed with cafe solo. We went there for breakfast and I really couldn't fault the food - I wanted a good fry up and that's exactly what I got. The milkshake here is also some of the best I've had around Canterbury, actually made using ice cream with a dollop of cream on top. The only reason I haven't put 5 stars for the food is because it didn't wow me like my other 5 star reviews, but it was still very decent. The staff were super friendly but gave us the space we wanted to eat together, the space was clean, and we were even surprised with complimentary Turkish delight. Overall, would recommend. They have a small carpark, but there are supermarkets nearby.

If Google could do more than 5 stars this place would get it. Upon arriving I got welcomed at the front door and seated. I think it’s a family run business because they take pride in everything they do. Food was wonderful Staff polite Cafe very clean There’s only two cafe’s I would take my wife too and this is one of them.

My family and I had a lovely breakfast in this cafe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, special shout out to Megan 1.0 for looking after us so beautifully. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of my vegetarian breakfast (which was delicious). So I took this one off the outside seating area :)

Stumbled across this place on a road trip. Maybe had been camping so long but this food was divine and what felt like very authentic Turkish cuisine! The service was top notch and had a sense of humour perfect for me and my friends. Sat outside with a lovely view of the high street. Tried the signature strawberry desert to finish our order of all starters and soup shared. Will definitely take a meander back here if ever in the area again.

Can believe this is the first time we’ve been. This is definitely going to be a regular for us. The mrs and I just had a perfect lunch. She had the mix grill and I had the fillet steak. Both meals cooked to perfection. Service was spot on. Definitely recommend. ….thanks guys, see you soon

Another FANTASTIC meal at Ozgur. The service was fantastic which started with a warm welcome and continued with a friendly and brilliant service all round and throughout. Food was out of this world. Cooked to perfection. We had the main meal for 2, served with different meats and rice. I don’t normally like lamb but the way they cook it is amazing, great portion sizes I was full up but couldn’t help but eat just that little bit more. I wish I could give more than 5 stars as this place really deserves it.

That was surprising! We happened to come in relatively late on Sunday evening without a reservation and were greeted and served very friendly. Questions about the menu were patiently explained to us, so we were happy with our choice of dishes. Without exception, all the dishes we ordered were very tasty and tasted of different flavors. Lovely visit, friendly staff. The food was beautiful my fresh, which a great deal mid week. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here whilst also enjoying a complimentary Baileys at the end of the meal. I will be visiting again sometime soon.

We have eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and loved it Today after a really hard day at work we really fancied a curry but were to tired to go out. I didn’t realise that they did delivery to our village which is a good 15 minutes drive from the restaurant. I booked it online paid cash on delivery and ordered all our favourites that we eat in the restaurant. It’s was so easy and in under an hour a cheerful lady delivered our curry as promised. It was just as nice as the food in the restaurant. I highly recommended this place the service either if you eat in or order a delivery is brilliant and the food is fantastic.

I had take away and so cant speak to the atmosphere but the food was terrific. The salmon and scallops were the ebst i have had.The garlic nan was superb and also I really enjoyed the duck. Can recommend.

Cannot thank The Latte Lounge enough for the buffet they prepared and laid out for a birthday at my home. It was all just so tasty and delicious - it was all eaten over 3 days by us all!! Highly recommend Sharon and her team who created all these delights for us. Thank you all, see you in 2022

We found this cafe by chance as the cafe we normally stop at on route home was closed. We were greeted on arrival by Jo. I am gluten free and was delighted when Jo told me I could get a gluten free breakfast. My friends had the breakfast bagel while I tucked into sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, mushroom and tomato with gluten free toast and real butter. My friends reported that the bagels were delicious. The cafe was an unexpected gem . It has a lovely atmosphere and Jo the waitress is so friendly. Ceci the owner/chef is also lovely.

My sister and I went to this lovely cafe today. First time I’ve been but my sister has been several times. I am coeliac and there was. so much choice ( something I’m not often used to having),, We had a lovely sandwich which we shared to leave room for cake. So many to chose from. I chose a delicious cheesecake and my sister who isn’t gluten free had the chocolate and cherry cake. We both thought the cakes were yummy. Thank you for having such a big gluten free choice, we’ll definitely be visiting again soon.
