Took both sets of parents for afternoon tea on Christmas eve. Amazing place, great service, food and great prices. Definitely going back.
A lovely lunch with friends at the Montfort Restaurant.
The menu offers a wide range of dishes, including lighter bites and a variety options to suit dietary requirements such as gluten free and vegan.
Good service and overall an enjoyable afternoon.
Started with cauliflower soup which was beautifully rich and silky, and served with little roasted and pickled pieces of cauliflower and golden raisins. main was the chalk stream trout dish. Local fish served with a take on Bombay Potatoes, a little smoked trout samosa that was crispy and very tasty and a light curried sauce. Food was beautifully presented and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Took my mum here for an afternoon tea and couldn’t have been more impressed. Not only was the location stunning and it was in a lovely retirement village on beautiful grounds, but the staff were so friendly and attentive (especially Annie) and the food was so fresh and delicious. A must recommend, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming again.
