Nine of us had a surprise party for my partner on Sunday 16th March 2025. It was a huge success, the food and drinks were excellent. The quality of the steaks were second to none. The service was great. The staff were so helpful, polite and friendly. I really can't thank all of them enough. We will be seeing you all again soon.

We came to The Forge for our valentines evening meal, and it didn't disappoint!
We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and started our night with a lovely bottle of red while we waited to be seated.
The staff were attentive, and we quickly received our menus and ordered our meals.
For starters, we had Korean BBQ bites and breaded garlic mushrooms - both of which were delicious!
For our mains, we ordered an 8oz rump and a 12oz rump. Both of these steaks were seasoned beautifully and are up there two of the best steaks we have had.
The steaks are served lightly seared only but on a 440-degree lava rock, so you can cook the steak to your liking, a really fun and quirky thing to do.
After we were finished, we thanked the staff and asked them to pass our compliments onto the chef, also, as it really was delicious 😋
If I had to pick fault with anything it would be that the service, bringing the mains out was on the slow side but the ambience, smells, tastes and of course my gorgeous date's company ;) made up for that!
Called in on the off chance, and they had a table available to us. We had to be wheeled out! The food was excellent, served on hot stone, ready to cut into strips to cook at the level you want it. The portions are very large, taste great, and the service is excellent. Would definitely return. But I will need to make sure I haven't eaten at all that day before 😊
