We stopped for a pint after a walk along the river Aire.
Service at the bar was swift and the staff very friendly.
We sat outside, as we had two soggy dogs with us.
Lots of people sat outside too.
Plenty of seating and dog friendly.
Child friendly too with a grassy area and sweet machines.
Could do with some dog water bowls.
We didn't eat so can't comment on food but we had two good pints.
What a warm, welcoming and lovely pub. Made to feel very welcome and at home. Beer and wine very reasonably priced and locals super friendly. Everything a pub should be. Need to try the food next time!
Just set back from the Leeds and Liverpool canal at Rodley is this timeless gem of a pub. Dog friendly wouldn't give it justice, they are welcomed with a treat and a fuss. My dog won't let me pass without calling in. Chris and his dedicated staff team are amazing. Great setting for a cheeky after walk pint.
Excellent every visit. Come for the near guaranteed Old Perculiar on tap. I've drank a lot of OP. First pint was a bit iffy so suggested barrel was on way out. Landlord agreed, swapped barrel no fuss and had 2 of the best pints a man can ever have in the sun.
Lovely traditional pub. Always enjoyable! Thanks
