Our first visit and it was a good one. Excellent young staff and first class food (bland of beef for me). And a great wine list which we chose an excellent Greek wine from. The decor was modern and clean - love the fake library wallpaper. Will defo return.

My husband and I love this place! We’ve have never had a less than exquisite meal at the Tickled trout and the service is second to none. Chris and his team deliver at a very high standard, every time! Last time we went we brought a group of friends from all over the world (Sweden, Japan, Tasmania, Romania and England represented at our table) and we had a wonderful meal together. For those with an interest in wine it’s also worth a visit as they have an excellent wine list. Nice to see some British sparkling wine introduced for spring and summer too!

Thank you to the whole team at the Tickled trout! I stayed in Little Trout just for one night, wish it had been for longer.... beautiful meal - highly recommend the arancini and the beef was excellent. Maybe the Yorkshire rhubarb is more superior! Will be back soon!

Fabulous pub in the beautiful peak district. Food is delicious and a great mix of traditional and more refined dishes. Chris has created a fantastic menu. Staff are warm and friendly and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Had Christmas dinner here and it was absolutely the best dining experience our family has had, even PK my father in law was impressed, his meat and two veg culinary standards are Mount Everest.
The staff were excellent, the way Christmas dinner was presented and timed was perfect.
