Astek have their dental lab on site which is how I believe all dentists should be set up. I had a front tooth knocked out in a childhood accident and have since been very conscious of the way my smile looks. In today's world of working on Teams and video calls for the main part, this was becoming more and more problematic for me. So along with attending appointments with my dentist, Leila, for general dentistry she took impressions and Ailsa, the proprietor, created two bespoke veneers to make my front teeth appear more normal and worked with both me and my lovely dentist, to tailor my smile when I wasn’t initially delighted with the result - cancelling afternoon appointments until we were done. Two veneers sounds a simple, ordinary thing, but I actually didn’t have two front teeth to work with – just one front tooth and a smaller, differently shaped, side tooth which looked quite odd. I now don’t even think about my teeth when I’m on screen which is such a relief. Thank you so much Astek!

To say I am a nervous patient is an understatement. Leila has been so patient and kind with me and I am so much more confident in the chair with her. She has also managed to sort out gum issues that have persisted for over 40 years, and now when I’m brushing my teeth there is no sign of anything in the sink but toothpaste. She also keeps me on track when I’m not doing as well as I should be, advising on which brushes, toothpaste for sensitivity, and even demonstrating that you can get the largest of teepees into some very small spaces. I can't praise the staff at Astek enough, they have been so caring and really given me a 5star experience. From tooth extractions, making sure i was comfortable very step of the way to denture fittings, nothing was to much trouble. Friendly and very approachable. I would highly recommend all of them. I have always been nervous about dentists due to some traumatic experiences as a child and growing up. However I spoke to the amazing Ailsa who recommended i went to see Saima the dentist and she told me I needed a filling. I was shocked at how gentle she was with the anaesthetic, the filing itself and after I left I had no discomfort at all. I was so pleased. I love how she explained everything so I felt at ease with the process and felt in control. I highly recommend Astek from its customer service, efficiency, kind staff, very bright and cheerful environment and very skilled practitioners. A well deserved 5 stars from me :)

Smiling with my lips pressed together is now a thing of the past for me. I can not recommend Astek Dental enough. They have been with me every step of the way. I'm so happy with my teeth. They are absolutely beautiful. My new dentures are perfect. I can eat properly now. I can smile with confidence. I'm so happy 😊.
