Had two meals here now and both have been excellent. So much more than "pub grub".

Whenever a restaurant doesn't offer you every dish known to man, you know that's a good sign!

The best quality ingredients, cooked and presented beautifully. The staff are always friendly and polite and don't constantly ask "Is everything ok?"

Lovely country pub and very busy for a Tuesday night. Food was really good, I had two starters as a main. The sweet potato and coconut soup was delicious, followed by a crispy beef salad. Hubby had calves liver which was equally tasty. We found the service a little cold. Bar staff double up serving tables so they were busy. No one came to ask how our meal was and we had to get attention to order dessert and pay the bill. No one acknowledged us leaving. Having said that we would go back just for the food.

Fantastic food. Restored my faith in what a good pub can deliver with the right chef. Lovely garden with a small bouncy castle, small climbing frame and space to run around. Cosy old English pub feel inside and good service. Pretty much everything you would want from a pub! Look no further if you're in the area!

Came here as a big group for my brothers 40th. Food was lovely, I had the vegetarian wellington which was lovely and everyone else enjoyed their food too. Staff were friendly and had a laugh with the gentlemen serving our table. They have a huge garden with a play area.
Highly recommend a visit.
