Mrs.O’Brien offers a huge amount of help with maths tutoring for more than just maths.So offering great tutoring at all levels in maths, and maths content in physics, chemistry and Business studies.She has a very approachable manner and makes the students feel at ease very quickly. She creates an easy atmosphere so students feel relaxed to ask questions, without feeling self conscious.She can also flex to add additional sessions in holidays or for when a maths test is coming at school-This is greatly appreciated ! She has given my child a greater confidence and skills to face her maths GCSEs. Thank you.

Thomas was at the end of the first term in year 11, studying for his GCSE’s before we commenced his additional support in maths using Mrs O’Brien. At that stage Thomas was struggling to make sense of some of his maths topics and we were hoping the extra support would secure a grade 4 (and were hopeful on a good day a grade 5 would be achievable.) Thomas immediately clicked with Mrs O’Brien and found some of her alternative methods in areas of maths much simpler than he had been previously taught. After weekly lessons that we increased to two towards his exams Thomas was much more confident in maths by the time he sat his GCSE’s. Mrs O’Brien was fully converse with the curriculum and proficient in Sparx which was the schools maths learning platform. Thomas has recently received his result and obtain a grade 7! We are obviously delighted and can’t thank Mrs O’Brien enough for everything she has done. (PS: in the final weeks before the exams were also used Mrs O’Brien for some additional support in various chemistry topics which again Thomas achieved a grade 7). Fully recommend Mrs O’Brien and her services.

I started tuition here recently because I was struggling at maths, I've been to many other tuition places, and this has to be the best one I've been to by far, because as soon as I started tuition here my grades skyrocketed and i moved up 2 sets in school. Mrs o brien is very nice and respectful, she is an amazing tutor. (She is very experienced and very friendly) She has helped me alot. I would definitely 100% recommend this tuition to anyone struggling in science or maths. Prices are very fair and cheap aswell. -Year 11 secondary school student

I'm really grateful to The Tutor Centre for the incredible turnaround they've achieved with my son's education since starting in Year 8 when he was struggling in Maths, English, and Science. He was in low sets at school and had no confidence. But thanks to the dedication and hard work of The Tutor Centre, he has been jumping sets and has advanced to the top sets for Year 11. He's now being entered for higher GCSE tiers in Maths and Triple Science and his confidence has seen a massive boost. I am now enrolling my year 4 son to get him a head start in education and not waiting until year 8 :-). His time at the Tutor Centre has also seen a total change in mindset from not being interested in academic achievement to a highly motivated student with aspirations to achieve the highest GCSE grades across all subjects, not just the three he is being tutored in at The Tutor Centre. I cannot recommend the Tutor Centre enough.

🙂 My child has been receiving tuition in English and Maths with The Tutor Centre since September 2023. Months later, it's an absolute joy to see my daughter feeling confident when doing her Maths, a subject she once dreaded. She is learning so much from the tutor when it comes to her Narrative/Descriptive writing aswell, I am so grateful to the tutor for this. My daughter finds the lessons fun, engaging and differentiated to suit her ability. She thoroughly enjoys her lessons and looks forward to seeing the other students that are part of the class. My daughter's school assessment scores this Spring compared to last Autumn show a huge improvement. This is reassuring. I can't recommend Top Marks Tuition enough. I've never struggled to get my 15 year old daughter to go as she enjoys the sessions. Learning on a more one to one basis has been beneficial for her as she struggles to focus at school. Matt and Nicki have been very supportive and offered advice when needed.

Our daughter attended Top Marks for various subjects from the age of 10. Having just passed her GCSE Maths and English exams, we are so grateful for the support given to her by the team there. My 10-year old son has just begun his second year at TMT, and I am incredibly thankful for all they do! I noticed how confident he has become picking up higher-level tasks, how positively his attitude has changed towards learning and the lovely comments his school teacher has made regarding improved performance. Both my children have been attending Chellaston tutoring for some time now. Chellaston tutoring have really helped them both immensly in Maths and English and given them so much more confidence. Katie and Jordan are fabulous teachers who plan out their lessons carefully to tailor to each childs needs. The kids both get on really well with the teachers and they do make the lessons fun too. The teachers provide valuable feedback at the end of each lesson. I am so glad we found them!

Amazing local tutors. They are all super friendly and explain everything in a really clear way, for both the students and parents! The sessions are personalised and totally tailored to how the kids learn, making everything much easier. They teach most kids here and have links with all the schools. Definitely recommend giving them a go if you want a fun, effective way to learn.

My daughter started here after struggling with maths and it was the best decision we have ever made! The support that Katie has given has seen her confidence grow and given her a much deeper understanding of maths where she actually enjoys it now which I never thought would be possible!
