Nice cafe, quiet when we called. Sausage sandwich and bacon sandwich were nice and well stuffed. Lattes good and the cafe is nice and well stocked. Heard they also catered for allergies.

This was our 3rd visit in a few weeks, so rather than try re review, I will update the older review.

Fresh back from flying, a little late for a breakfast sandwich, we both went for the ham salad with mayo. My tea was piping hot, in a proper pot, with a biscotti. My mate's Coke came with ice and a glass.

It does tickle me when you read some reviews on here and on Tripadvisor. It would appear that some grumps have really got out of bed on the wrong side and do not appreciate a family run establishment that is both popular and well staffed.

The Matron D is a local Yorkshire Lady of some repute and wit. Any establishment with a good name and quality needs someone with character and spice to run it.

I have had to plead......nay beg for a sausage sandwich after breakfast service had stopped - a sly wink helped though.

To the one and two star brigade - go back anonymously, choose some tasty comestibles and sit in the sunny surroundings and enjoy and chill.

Quit a small place, but cosy and warm.
Ordered home made Apple crumble with custard, to warm me up.Ts certainly did that.It was delicious.Just the right amount of crumble to slightly tart apple.
Washed down with a mug of hot steaming Americana black coffee. Just what anyone should order( never mind the doctor)
Service was quick and efficient.
Will drop in again.

The staff were so helpful & friendly. Food is very tasty, amazing selection of cakes. Proper pot of tea in a posh cup & saucer.
