I recently dined at this establishment and opted for a fillet steak alongside nachos as a starter. The fillet steak was excellent—well-cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. At around £35, it offered good value for money and was more than filling.
However, the nachos were let down by a disappointingly low-quality cheese sauce. Rather than a rich, velvety topping, the sauce resembled a watery, lumpy, and flavorless paste, reminiscent of the cheap, instant varieties found in supermarket packets. This completely overshadowed the dish and detracted from what could have been a solid appetizer.
A simple improvement—using real, melted cheese or a properly prepared cheese sauce—would elevate this dish significantly. Hopefully, the restaurant takes note, as the steak proves they’re capable of delivering quality when they get it right.
Lovely ambient family friendly restaurant offering a variety of dishes including steaks, kebabish and burgers. On our visit we got to try the new Waygu Burger which was delicious. They also have a great dessert menu. Parking is available for free at the rear of the restaurant.
1st time we came to Grillz for family meal.
Greeted and shown to our table Staff crew "FATz" n "D" n "H" who also took our food n drink orders a excellent customer service. Food arrived looked n tasted amazing defo 101% coming back again .
