An unassuming spot that turns out consistently great coffee. If you’re after a great cup they serve Assembly beans from a La Marzocco machine in loveramic cups.
Their food is great and they serve a range of pastries and sweets plus bacon rolls, granola and yoghurt pots plus more.
Their staff are very friendly and the cafe is close to the main shopping area and the castle, as well as close to public transport links.
Worth noting that this is a laptop free cafe but it is clearly signed at the counter.
Having been past Krema a few times as one of a few coffee shops in Guildford, I'm kicking myself for not going in sooner. Amazing staff and a brilliant light atmosphere. This is perfectly located on the corner of Tunsgate, and Castle street for you to stop and get some work done or quickly pop in for a hot drink before carrying on your route. The coffee was rich and very well made with care as you'll see from my photo but what caught was the almost warm family vibe you get when you enter. Everyone's smiling, happy to serve and engage in conversation. The owner Steve is a lovely host and very attentive. Foods also pretty good 👍🏼. I highly recommend Krema if your in Guildford as your no1 coffee stop against the BIG brands.
A great place for a coffee…if the weather allows sitting outside is great way to watch the world go by.
The staff are always very helpful and do make a great tasting and looking cup of coffee….we also had a cheese and ham croissant which hit the spot while out and about in Guildford.
A cozy place with delicious coffee and a variety of fresh pastries.
Attentive staff and always lots of visitors.
