Had a lovely meal at the three horseshoes! Cosy interior, simple but delicious menu and the staff were excellent! We had the burger, truffle fries and fish and chips and would 100% reccomend! Great portion sizes too. Will return :)

Family lunch to check out the menu before my nieces wedding ceremony there next year. Small menu of all good home made food, sourced locally where possible, which was delicious and perfectly okcooked.
I sampled the vegetarian option of homemade local watercress and potato soup followed by Gnocchi, crispy kale and truffle oil, which there was so much of I couldn't finish it.

We've lived in Bramdean for 5 years and never knew about the three horseshoes in Bighton until this evening when we we're looking for pubs near by.

From the minute you pull into the car park you feel like it's a special place and when you walk into this beautiful building you realise it is a bit special.

Great decor and cosy and welcoming staff. The menu was diverse and everything sounded appetising.

Me and my partner and son had starters and main and it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing.

Gluten free options available as well as vegetarian. Fresh local produce too.

Dog friendly and plenty of seating inside and out with beautiful views all around.

You won't be disappointed it was busy but very relaxed and we really enjoyed our meal and will be adding it to our top 10 pubs.

The Three Horseshoes is a charming country pub located in the village of Bighton, just outside of Alresford. We had heard good things about it so a table of four of us visited for Sunday lunch in April.

The pub itself is very quaint, and had a lovely atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive too. The food we had at The Three Horseshoes was good, however, I do feel that £21.00 for a Roast Chicken Breast was slightly on the edge of expensive.

My partner ordered Fish and Chips, and was quite disappointed that it arrived with French Fries. Now I’m sure you could argue it’s fried potato, but I do feel that this was quite a mis-step and did slightly sour his experience.

Overall, it was a nice pub, and we enjoyed our experience, but a few niggles did knock it down slightly in my star rating.
