Visited the Old Original for their Friday Steak night and we were not disappointed. Streaks were cooked to perfection with plenty of accompanying sides.
The service was quick and friendly, the overall atmosphere was great just how pubs used to be and still should be.

Very friendly staff, recommend booking, car park not very big but can park on the road.
Food choice amazing, curry night on Mondays, Tapas 5 dishes for £20 on Thursdays and Saturdays, set menu great value, lots of specials on the board both main and starters.
Excellent choice of meals on the main menu, average prices, we had the Moroccan lamb , very spicy served with rice or chips and vegetables, generous portion, really tasty, food came quickly, seating outside but not dog friendly inside, didn't ask but they probably would allow dogs outside, best to check .
A bit hard to find but we'll worth the effort, thanks to all the staff, and the Chef, your food was delicious

Massive let down was the mashed potato 🥔 really bland mash not buttery or creamy. We are looking forward to visiting again for the cheese and onion pie I just really hope the mashed potato is improved.
The homemade soups were absolutely gorgeous the food was served piping hot,
staff were lovely the service was fast even when super busy. It only works out £20-30 per person which is fantastic!
