So me and my sister in law arrived at lunchtime today to have the festive menu not realising you really needed to book. However, not a problem, the lovely lady (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name, but they are all lovely) spoke to the chef and said it wouldn't be a problem. We had the turkey dinner, followed by cheesecake for me, christmas pudding for her, and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious, presented beautifully, and lovely atmosphere, very festive! Thank you so much to the staff for making our afternoon a very pleasant one indeed, and a very Merry Christmas to you all!
Great food and great staff, we have been in on many occasions and never had an issue.
Sunday lunches are lovely and we had some special requests which were handled fantastic. Will be back soon.

Stopped by for a drink and bite to eat after a walk with the dog at Clifton Country Park. Pub looked newly refurbished and we were made to feel more than welcome with our four legged friend. Drinks and food really good as well the lovely, warm and friendly staff. Probably the friendliest I’ve come across. Thank you 🙏🏻
Visited today for breakfast lovely and clean. Amazing customer service off lady with blond hair didn't catch her name. Also young lady asked was every thing ok.
