First Time at Steak Land Tonight and the food didn’t disappoint and was delicious 🤤 would definitely recommend and will definitely be back in the new year! Thank you to Vullnet and team great atmosphere and hospitality as always.

Ok hands up time..... I was wrong, judging a book by it's cover, so this I apologise for before I start 🫢.

Driving past the new restaurant in Glossop "steakland", every day and every day thought "what a stupid name, bet it will be rubbish.

Fast forward a few weeks and the buzz for this place was starting to bleed through social media, ok I thought let the carnivore see the cadaver......

The place was packed, it's only small but well laid out and has a cosy yet vibrant feel. The smell of roasting meat and laughter filling the place.

Menu is small, but they do specials (so nearly had the tomahawk, but wanted to keep it simple on my first visit), but I always find this is better, concentrating on perfection.

The service was impeccable all night, waiters smiling and attentive, raw "cuts" brought to customers explaining the source of the produce,to the best way to have it cooked.

This is such a nice touch, each cut has a "preference" to rareness to compliment it's structure, not every cut of meat is best at medium rare.

Food? My pork ribs fell off the bone, the deep rich sauce had a welcome undercurrent of sharpness to cut through the rich. Sue's simple halloumi salad was fresh and tasty.

The steaks, well they were just perfection! So much flavour, cooked to order and the seared surface giving another level over the super moist centre. Simple sides of blue cheese and porcini sauce, fries and wilted garlic and chilli spinach lifted the main attraction.

So I was wrong, but also glad I proved myself so, because I'll be back 😎

We came here on NYE and we got the Halloumi Salad, chicken skewers and the steak sharing board with a bottle of white wine. The steak was perfectly cooked and honestly some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Staff were friendly and had a lovely atmosphere, will definitely return:)

The food was delicious! Steak cooked to perfection.
The staff were all lovely and friendly also great with the children! Myself my partner & our 2 girls all ate last night. We were sceptical as we had seen many people saying how expensive it was. However, me & my partner both had a starter which we shared with the girls, we both had ribeye steak with chips, side salad & peppercorn sauce & our girls had nuggets & chips & a chicken burger and chips, they both had 1 drink each & myself and my partner had 2 drinks each. I’ve honestly never seen my girls clear a plate like they did last night, me and my partner couldn’t finish our steak so our eldest devoured that too! 🤣🤣 but we all ate and drank for under £120 which I think is amazing for a delicious meal for 4 with drinks on valentines night! Thankyou so much to all the staff and compliments to the chefs also. We will definitely be back!

Lovely addition to Glossop. We really enjoyed the food and the steak was tender and well cooked. Service was excellent. We parked just outside the front of the restaurant.
