We requested installation of porcelain tiles to the front of the property and a mix of Trex composite decking, artificial lawn and porcelain tiles to the rear of the property. Wayne and his team were able to start the extension of our drive over a month before expected and completed the job ahead of schedule. All the guys were polite and worked so hard. We were kept informed throughout and cannot fault the workmanship and finished drive. We would definitely use Living Landscapes again and would recommend their services 100%.

Wayne and his team did a great job remodelling our garden. It involved quite a lot of groundwork, and a lot of sleeper work, which was completed to a very high standard. They also did a fantastic job of laying a paved area on the upper level, and laying artificial grass on the lower level. They also replaced several posts and panels of the fence, all to the same high standards. I would not hesitate to recommend Living Landscapes.

AJ Sparks recently repaired a hazardous drain in the car park at The Miramar care home. Their team responded promptly, addressing the issue quickly and professionally. The repair was thorough, and the drain is now not only safe but better than before. We were impressed with the quality of work and their attention to detail. I can't recommend AJ services enough. My partners parents live in Margate and we live in London and unfortunately the parents are unable to look after the garden and it had been neglected for a number of years. It was quite overwhelming to look at and we didn't know what to do or how much it would cost. When I contacted AJ, I felt we were in safe hands. We did a walk through of the garden and I felt very confident of the work he was doing and within our budget. They acted fast and after a day's work the place was looking fantastic. It really gave us peace of mind. We will always use them now for top ups and more needs to be done. Very happy, throughout the process Simon's only concern was that I was happy with the work, rather than making money. As soon as he finished the job he said if there are any issues with the work let me know, and indeed as soon as I texted him about an issue, I had a response within 10 minutes. It's so refreshing not having to chase people! The issue was nothing to do with his work, rather it was Redrow (house builder's) poor workmanship, that became visible after Simon's job. Nevertheless, he came round promptly and tidied it up free of charge.

Derek and Georgie carried out an extension to our existing patio and found an almost match to the existing slab. We are extremely satisfied and happy with the standard of work we received, and disruption was kept to a minimum. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone wish to have any hard landscaping work done.

We are absolutely delighted with the work that Derek and his guys did for us which included the removal of a hawthorn hedge and replacement fencing. Top quality materials (fence posts guaranteed for 25 years) professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and hard working workforce that turned up on time and did everything they said they would do and more, an absolute credit to you Derek. Derek and his team did an excellent job with our back garden. We were very impressed with how thorough he was in the beginning and talked us through the whole project and what would be expected. We had some idea of what we wanted, and Derek helped us shape this and provide his own ideas of what we could do, which we really valued. It took us a long time to get him booked in (5 months, so book well in advanced), but when he confirmed a date, the work was completed in good time and completed with excellent quality. He was conscious of doing an excellent job, but also considered the implications of the decisions too. For example, we asked for an area to be covered in patio slabs, and Derek mentioned that we also need to consider the drainage required for such a job. He factored this into the work, and given the rain we have had over the past couple of months, we've been very thankful of the knowledge he had to ensure that the job is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. We would highly recommend Derek to others and will happily use him again.

It is just under two years since Derek and Paul built our garden, and at the time we said it was magnificent. Looking back now, over time, it has given us immeasurable pleasure, and their attention to detail was wonderful. So we thought we'd write this second review by way of thanks.

Our garden was an overgrown mess ever since we moved in with low quality soil and rubbish and rubble left over from the original house build and to our shame several years of neglect. Andy and team drew up a lovely low maintenance design to let us keep control but still get us some greenery and colour. Improved the soil, removed the rubbish paving laid by the developer and replaced with new patio and built out the raised beds and planted out borders. Quoted 3 weeks to carry out the work, but was completed to an excellent standard in 2 and to our budget. Very much looking forward to seeing it start to bloom in the spring and summer and such a relief to no longer have a horrendous eyesore staring at us through the windows. Excellent attention to detail and personal service. Thoroughly recommend.

Andy’s knowledge and skill turned our initial basic ideas into a design. His team then carried out the work which was extremely well planned and executed with accuracy and perfection. The whole time we were kept informed, and made sure we were happy. Everything was left as tidy as possible at the end of each day and the whole time they were very considerate to our neighbours.

We were looking around for an all in one solution to our landscaping needs. The design element was very important to us as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted in our minds. Andy and the team compiled our thoughts, essentials and desirables and created a design we loved from day 1. When it came to the build, we didn't have to wait long for a team to be available. They did a great job and neighbours had no complaints about their level of courtesy. Took about 6 weeks working business days to finish the job. A significant part of the job was excavating clay. All in we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and final outcome. The only issue we had was our pergola was delivered late by a one man team from a 3rd party, due to having a puncture. Given underlying medical problems I was unable to effectively assist with the delivery.

I am so happy with the work Fence Connections have just finished landscaping my garden. They renewed the decking and laid a path, patio and turf. Their work was of a really high standard and they were so friendly and polite. The price and quality of materials was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Our garden was a rectangular plot consisting of turf which sloped top to bottom and right to left. We wanted a paved area and a pergola but beyond that were open to suggestions. Sam and Craig were full of ideas and showed us examples of work they had done previously. They were able to lay a patio covering two-thirds of the bottom of the garden which matched paving slabs and steps at the side of our house as well as a raised patio with grey boards. The contrast in materials and heights worked really well. They then constructed a pergola on the grey boards leaving planting pockets so we could grow flowers and climbing plants. Finally they laid a new path from the steps at the front of the garden to the patio which tied the whole design together. In addition they built a new fence behind the whole area which matches the fences at the side of the garden. The garden has been transformed and we are more than happy with the finished result. If you are looking for a team with good ideas that they can implement then you won't go far wrong with Fence Connections.
