Kitchen double socket with RCD fitted. I highly recommend Fraser at Thor Electrical Services. He is an extremely pleasant person and explained everything he was doing in a way I could understand. It was a pleasure to have him carry out work in my home. He carefully carried out the work in less time than I expected and his pricing was very good. Install fan heater in bathroom. Power supplied via upstairs socket fitted with RCD & fused spur. Fraser probably didn't expect to become a removals person in order to access the above socket. It was no trouble, very obliging. Very polite. Safety conscious, talked me through what needed doing & any further advice given. Very tidy. Also inspected current underfloor heating.

Fraser installed a Consumer Upgrade Unit for us last week. We can't praise him highly enough. He thoroughly checked everything before starting and patiently explained everything he was doing. Fraser and Marco are professionals at what they do. We first had a EICR safety check carried out at a property in which we took the advice Fraser provided us with to replace some under lighting in the kitchen with new LED strip lights which look fantastic. We also had bathroom fan extractors replaced which now work and perform brilliantly. Subsequently during that time Fraser conducted an investigation in our loft extension to find and resolve the electrical issue we had and it is now safe to use! It's always difficult to leave good reviews of tradesfolk, in case they become really popular and are too busy when you need them again! And the same is true here. Paul was brilliant in every aspect of doing business not just the electrical work. But please don't give him too much work, in case I need to use him again!

Paul did an excellent job of providing electricity to the garden shed and installing outside lights along the path, and both in the shed, and flood lights on the shed to light up the garden and the gate. He is punctual, hard working and happy to help with suggestions on different options of ways to light up the path, gate, shed, & garden.

I needed to have lighting put in to light up our path to our front door and of course thought to ask Martin at John Carpenter Electrical. Martin promptly contacted me upon my request. He then came out to our house to get an idea of what I we wanted, look at our electrical set up and discuss around what we had in mind. The next day we had a quote with a couple of options in, depending on if we were after stationary lighting or if we were after flexibility of moving lights around. We picked the stationary, and we booked in a time for the installation. On the day, Martin and his apprentice came on the time we had previously booked (we had also had a reminder the day before), they quickly and expertly got on with the job, digging out for foundations for the pillars and laying the cable that they also managed to install into an existing socket so that no additional holes had to be drilled in the walls. They were a delight, giving us updates through the day, finishing on time and really keeping the area clean and tidy. The price was also very reasonable. With Martin I feel I always get a professional service, on time and reasonable – also guiding me through options and making suggestions. I have no hesitation to recommend friends, family and anybody else to use Martin and John Carpenter Electrical for any of their electrical needs.

I really appreciate the promptness and professionalism of Laszlo and his new team member Martin, of John Carpenter Electricals who helped Jam Coding Hampshire NW with all our PAT test. Martin came onsite to do it for us, was timely, and gave us a certificate for the work. He also advised on what to do with the devices that failed the test. I contacted Be Light about a failed ceiling rose light in a bedroom. David responded promptly and provided a quote for the work, which was very reasonable. He came later the same day to wire a replacement ceiling rose. David was very polite and professional and did an excellent job in repairing the light fixture. I would be happy to commission Be Light for any future electrical work.

David was excellent. Knew what he was talking about and delivered great results. He has recently rewired my summerhouse to enable me to work from there by installing all new plugs lights and a cat 6 ethernet cable for the internet. Would highly recommend him for any future work.

I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

Samar provided an excellent service from the initial enquiry, the question and quote stage, and on the day of installation. Samar remained on site from installing the EV charger right through to ensuring it was recognised by the HIVE app. He didn’t leave the site until the charger was useable which involved contacting HIVE multiple times and logging into the laptop to manage the options and set up. Samar also made a very neat job of both the inside electrics as well as on the exterior, avoiding any visible wires. This was much appreciated as this would have shown on the white render. All paperwork and certificates followed through on the same day. I couldn’t recommend Samar more highly.

I cannot praise Tom and his partner in crime highly enough! I’ve found so many cowboy electricians on the way but Tom really put me at ease.
