When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended. On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon. I cannot speak more highly of the service I received or of Dan himself as he was clearly a very conscientious person. I thoroughly recommend him to anybody reading this review

I recently referred Dan Evans of Big Green Electrical to a key contact. Dan was brought in to install some spotlights in the hallway of a flat. It was not a straightforward job as access above the ceiling was severely restricted. In particular, a large water tank sat directly above a key area of the ceiling that needed spotlights. Dan arrived on time, presented professionally. He took time to listen carefully to the customer’s requirements and made some key recommendations based on his experience to ensure that the finished result was optimum. Once the brief was agreed, Dan worked efficiently and tirelessly without stopping for even a five minute break to get the job done. He completed the job ahead of time and ensured that the customer was satisfied that she had got the ‘wow’ factor in her hallway, which she had – it looked fantastic.

Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match. Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss. The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful. In this busy market where you want a competent, trusted, diligent and friendly provider who will design and install a system that works for your needs and not leave you in the lurch then Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company are where you want to go.

James worked on two projects for me. Internal upgrades to bedroom power and the installation of a new outdoor lighting system. All works were completed on time, on budget and to a very good standard. James is reliable, timely and tidy. I would 100% recommend his work.

Chuffed to bits with Dilwyn’s work. He’s extremely professional, reliable and does a perfect job. We’ve had a lot of work needed, mainly on our lights, since moving in to our new home, and Dilwyn was our number 1 choice for it. His rates are very reasonable and his work is of the highest quality. He’s also just a really lovely chap as well so it’s really nice having him in our home. He quietly cracks on with the work in the background and is really generous and clear with his advice.

Dilwyn was a great help when I really needed it (fuse box tripping for no clear reason). He responded promptly and offered to help over the phone until he could attend (which was almost immediately after he had a cancellation). He explained everything as he went along with just the right tone to make me feel listened to and confident in his work. A perfect balance of friendly and professional. Dilwyn is a very thorough and expert electrician. He has completed several jobs for us over the years and most recently an EICR certificate. Although, this job caused him a headache at times, he never once complained and offered to fit us in to his busy schedule so that we could stick to the deadline we had to work to. He is honest and hardworking and best of all he is always friendly! Would recommend Dilwyn 100%.

Samsum and his team were brilliant. They worked with our builder on our extension and renovation. From they time of quoting to where we are now, nearly finished, they have been exceptional. We told them what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Offered great advice on fitting etc and was able to arrange for alarm system to be installed. Also added few extras that we changed during the build process. The finish was better than the products we had identified. Planning and attention to detail was wonderful. Few things done without cost as this provided a better outcome. Wonderful. Samsum also shared my liking for gadgets and technology and nice to see someone in the trade show a true passion for their work and also for the outcome the client gets. I think there was some TV envy!!! Wifi works like a dream, OLED tv has pride of place in the living room, so much so that I cannot get to watch it as the kids seem to like it so much. Understandable delays caused by Covid were never and issue as Samsun would keep updated daily if needed. If there is every anything further we need doing, then Samsun and his team will be the only people we call. It was a pleasure to have Samsun and the SG Electrical Team in our house and we are so pleased with the end product.

My wife and I recently undertook a full house renovation on our cottage in Weybridge and SG Electrical oversaw absolutely everything related to the electrics. This included a full rewire of the house but also the installation of CAT-6 data cables and access points to improve the home Wi-Fi and a smart home heating system. We asked Billy for his help in solving a few lighting problems in our kitchen, including adding under cabinet lighting, a new pendant light above the island and a few extra sockets dotted around. The work was done on time, in a professional manner, and Billy found a way around all the obstacles that came our way as our kitchen is particularly awkward with regards to its layout. Having just downsized I was anxious for an electrician to complete several tasks at my new home. I phoned 10 from various advertised sites and only 2 answered my call; one could start in 2 months time whilst the only other one actually arrived 2 days later. He (Max) was very efficient, knowledgeable & friendly. The jobs were finished later that day with a final invoice that was most reasonable. I would use them again without hesitation.
