Chet has just finished 5 doors at our home. It’s an older place where nothing is straight or simple. His attention to detail and care in fitting the doors was exemplary. I couldn’t recommend Chet enough for the work he has done. It was a tough gig and he smashed it. Thanks Chet I’ll be sure to get hold of you for the next job on the list.

Chet re-fitted two doors for us that had not fitted for some time. He arrived on time and completed the job with the minimum of fuss, he was also very tidy and managed not to leave any wood chippings behind. We would use him again.

Chet turned our old airing cupboard into a neat & useful space. As usual, he is meticulous, regularly consulting with me as he progressed. He even changed the opening door design mid-way through which was such a relief. Delighted with his work. Highly recommend to everyone wanting some bespoke carpentry. Thanks again Chet.

Chet rehung my lounge door which kept coming away from the frame. He was efficient and prompt in coming out and provided good advice on the cause and how to manage any issues in the future. I would highly recommend this polite and knowledgable craftsmen.

I had Paul to fit 9 doors and I'm very please they look great and good quality. Nothing was too much bother and he cleaned up after and took my old doors away. Doors was good condition and he checked all very well. It was straight forward no hassle. Paul a nice and genuine guy. DEFINITELY RECCOMMED HIM. 👌

We had a total refurbishment of our kitchen from rewiring, plastering, new flooring and a whole new traditional kitchen installed. Paul & the team did a fantastic job from start to finish and we are incredibly happy with the end result. We can't recommend this company enough, fantastic.

Paul fitted 8 new cottage style doors in our Victorian Semi to replace the original 140 year old pine ones that were really showing their age The transformation is amazing. The doors he supplied were already coated in a nice primed finish, and actually were exactly the same colour as our choice of paint, which was Creme Del la Creme in the French Chic range ,so we only had to paint the sides he individually planed to fit . Paul did a fabulous job building this understairs storage for us plus building a cupboard elsewhere. He was responsive to texts, turned up on time and very reasonably priced. A very clean and tidy job. So good in fact, our neighbours have now poached him! 😄

Oz built some custom shelves for us for the living room. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. Oz is transparent and fair with how he prices, and sticks to his schedule. We will use Oz again, as we need a custom shelving unit for our upstairs office.

Oz has done several jobs for us including a new garden gate, putting up a picture rail and fixing some doors that were sticking or the handles didn't work. His work is always solid and high quality, would highly recommend.

Oz created a bespoke bookshelf for us. Very happy with the result and quality.

Raf and Chris did a bang-on job with my new cabinet! Proper quality work, solid as owt, and it fits the space perfect. They’re sound blokes, listened to what I wanted, and cracked on with no fuss. All we can say is what an amazing person is Rafa from RRJ carpentry his work is Absolutely amazing and explains everything from start to finish. His carpentry skill are A**** and would recommend to anyone wanting work done . Rafa did a good job fitting a dado rail and skirting for me. He was able to do the work at short notice and to a good standard. He managed my expectations well and kept me informed with progress. I will be contacting him again in future for more work.

Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted. Would recommend using Scott, searched through quite a few carpenters on google before deciding to use his services. I was not disappointed with the result and his workmanship, a tidy and friendly contractor, who kept me informed throughout the build and helped me out with additional jobs around the house at no extra hassle.

Neat, tidy and very good attention to detail and great quality. I have been using this company for years for many carpentry jobs including new doors and associated ironmongery etc. Structural floors and finishing works. 🥇 Only small draw back is that they don't do all the building work i need , like plumbing. 😄

Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. This, however, shouldn't warrant a one star review, as it isn't a reflection of Scott's actual craftsmanship, which what these reviews should be about! Thanks!

Scott came to do some panelling, build a bespoke cupboard and fit a ceiling rose. His workmanship is excellent. My living room is transformed! He listened to exactly what I wanted, was incredibly reliable and communicated well. He even worked late until the job was done! Wonderful service! I would definitely recommend him and his company.

Phil is the consumate professional you've always dreamed of. We have had several jobs done by Phil, fitting new doors with oak lintel, oak shelving and bespoke wardrobes in a challenging space. He will spend as long as you require to discuss the project and will always find a solution which, when finished, is exactly what you were expecting. Courteous, tidy and always turns up when he says he will! Can't recommend highly enough and we will undoubtedly use Phil again.

If you’re thinking of having Phil undertake carpentry at your house please do not hesitate. He is a consummate professional, excellent at his craft and on top of that a really friendly bloke. We wanted a bespoke staircase fitted in our home, modelled on the original 1960s open tread staircase, and Phil did an excellent job (see photos). He worked so hard to make the staircase practical and beautiful and we have had so many comments on how beautiful it is. We would happily use Phil again and recommend him to friends and family.

I cannot recommend Philip enough from start to finish for fitting my entire kitchen. When Philip first came to look at my house and when we first met, he was on time and an extremely nice genuine person. He made lots of ideas and suggestions to improve on my plans using his knowledge and experiences. Although I had a fairly large kitchen, I was actually on a tight budget. Philip’s quote arrived on time and was "extremely" favourable in comparison to two other quotes I received. He took great care to protect my new oak floor. Each day the house was left clean and tidy. He was extremely reliable and 100% trustworthy. Philips attention to detail was excellent and I couldn't fault anything he did. My entire kitchen looks STUNNING ! And to say I am delighted with him workmanship is an understatement. As soon as I have saved up, I would like Philip to return and make me a treehouse and other projects.....he is that good....

Phil has recently completed the most beautiful set of 4 fitted bookcases with cupboards below and a cupboard across the bay window. We are thrilled! Phil developed a design based on our basic needs and the finished effect is amazing: he has such good aesthetic sense and attention to detail. He is tidy and considerate and goes the extra mile: he offered to do our skirting boards too so that the fit with the cupboards is immaculate. Would definitely ask Phil back. And a thoroughly nice man as well as being a highly talented professional; a great experience! (Will add photos later)

Super service - Really impressive. I called Reuben and from the start, I was dealt with professionally and competently. The work was completed to a high standard. I can't recommend them enough.

We called CGT in the early hours of Sunday morning after the door to my daughters flat was kicked in. Reuben advised us of the price and how long it would take him to get there. My mother desperately needed some laminate flooring tided up after having a radiator moved in preparation for a stair lift to be fitted. We rang up Brian and explained we needed the flooring put down within a few days before the stair lift could be fitted. Brian was very helpful and came the next day to have a look. He then returned the following day and done the job for us. He also repaired our back door that had dropped and fitted us some window and door locks. Highly recommended. Would use again..

Brian and his team carried out a lot of work for us (repainting, woodwork, garden improvement, fixed gates). The work was done to a very high standard, quickly, and with a friendly, efficient manner. Prices were great, and above all very good value for money. We'd use him again without any doubt at all.

Brian has done a fantastic job on my new front door! He has been wonderful at after instalation care coming back with no hesitation to adjust to get it perfect. I used him 8 years ago at my old house to replace a door. I will continue to use him for all my carpentry as I can trust him.
